Appeal following high-value burglary at York Wholesale Meats

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a commercial burglary that occurred in York.

Police in York are investigating a burglary at York Wholesale Meats on York Business Park, Nether Poppleton, which occurred  between 9.40pm and 11.40pm on 23 January 2020.

It involved a group of people who broke into a container and stole thousands of pounds worth of steak.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about a Vauxhall Vivaro van which was seen around the area during the time of the burglary and any people acting suspiciously.
