Appeal following numerous thefts at Scarborough campsite

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a spate of thefts that have occurred at the camping and caravanning site on Field Lane near the Scalby Manor Pub, Scarborough.

We are aware of 4 thefts that took place overnight between Sunday 14th August 2016 and 16th August 2016.

During the incidents, damage to tents and caravan awnings was caused in order to steal valuables including a Men’s watch, cash and bicycles.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding these incidents.
