Appeal following public disorder in Malton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an incident of public disorder in Malton.

It happened on Yorkersgate, Malton around 11.30pm on Saturday 7 October 2017 and involved a four people, two Eastern European men and two women, who were arguing in the street

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about violence witnessed and/or any objects seen during the incident.

Two men, aged 21 and 29, were arrested in connection with incident. They have been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
