Appeal following racially-aggravated incident in Cross Hills

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a racially-aggravated incident that occurred in Cross Hills, Keighley.

It happened at Morrison’s Petrol Station (Snax24), Station Road, Cross Hills, Keighley, at about 10pm on Saturday 16 March 2019. A man entered the store and exposed himself to staff before making racial comments toward the same member of staff.

An arrest was made on the evening and the suspect has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, we are appealing for information from those who may have been in the store at the time and witnessed the incident.
