Appeal following recent arson

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an arson in Thirsk.

Bales of straw were set on fire in a field off Stockton Road in South Kilivington.

It happened during the early evening of Sunday 25 April.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about the suspect involved in the offence.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Charlotte Lancaster.
