Appeal following recent arson in Skipton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an arson that occurred in Skipton.

The arson happened on the junction of Romille Street and Sackville Street between 7am and 730pm on Saturday 13 January.

One man has been arrested on suspicion of the arson. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information from anybody who was in the area at the time and noticed anything suspicious.
