Appeal following recent burglary in York city centre

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary at a York city centre store at the weekend.

It happened at the size? shoe store on Feasegate at around 11.30pm on Friday 6 September 2019.

The thief or thieves broke a number of windows at the back of the shop before entering the store room and taking several pairs of ladies’ Nike trainers, valued at about £1,000.

We are requesting the public’s help to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
