Appeal following recent criminal damage in Middleton Tyas

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a criminal damage incident that occurred in Middleton Tyas.

It happened on Middleton Tyas Lane at 5.30am on Saturday 18 January 2020 when a male approached a driveway and caused damage to a parked Citroen Berlingo panel van by throwing a metal bar at the windscreen.

The suspect was wearing a bobble hat and outdoor style clothing.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and in particular, if anyone saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
