Appeal following recent road traffic collision near York

Officers are appealing for information following a collision near York involving two cars. North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a collision that occurred on the Fleet Lane to Tockwith Lane crossroads near Tockwith.

It happened at approximately 11.55am on Saturday 29 December 2018 on the Fleet Lane / Cattal Moor Lane junction at Tockwith, york, and involved a black Ford Focus and a black Ford Fiesta.

The driver of the Fiesta, a woman in her fifties, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Harrogate district hospital.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about the male driver of the Ford Focus, who is alleged to have left the scene shortly after the incident.
