Appeal following recent theft and criminal damage in Thornton le Dale

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a theft and criminal damage that occurred in Thornton Le Dale near Pickering.

It happened at on Thornton Lane between 6pm on 10 January and 8am on the 11 January and involved a blue, New Holland tractor being stolen from a farm building and used to cause a substantial amount of damage to farmland.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about any suspicious vehicles that may have been seen in the area between those times.
