Appeal following a theft from a car in Knaresborough.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a theft from motor vehicle that occurred in Knaresborough on Wednesday 15 June 2016 between 5.30 and 6pm.

It happened on Kirkgate outside the working mens club and involved a man smashing the window of a silver Toyota Yaris and stealing a carrier bag containing personal items.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to gain information in relation to this incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about the suspect involved.
