Appeal following report of an altercation in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an altercation that occurred on York cycle track near to Heworth village.

It happened on York cycle track near to Heworth Village at approximately 1pm on 12 June 2020 when a man in his thirties threatened another man with a bladed article.

The suspect is described as a man in his thirties,  6’3″ to 6’4″ tall and of slim build. He had short shaven dark hair with a dark goatee style beard. He was wearing a grey jacket, grey jogging shorts and trainers as well as a gold watch and gold ring.
