Appeal following residential burglary in North Rigton

The incident happened on Church Hill ,North Rigton between 3pm and 8.30pm on Sunday 8 November 2020 when suspects gained entry to a residential home and used a pillowcase to steal a number of items of property, including a valuable amount of jewellery.

North Yorkshire Police is requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and in particular officers are appealing for information about a suspect vehicle seen in the area around the time of the burglary.

The vehicle was a black Mercedes or similar car, possibly on a 09 plate.
