Appeal following road rage incident near Scotch Corner

Police are appealing for witnesses information about an alleged road rage incident on the A66 dual carriageway towards Scotch Corner.

It occurred at around 10.15am on Friday 31 August 2018 and involved  a white Ford Transit van and a yellow Audi A1.

The driver of the Audi, a 23-year-old man from Penrith, Cumbria, was arrested and released under investigation on suspicion of dangerous driving.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
