Appeal following Scarborough assault

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a violent assault that occurred in Scarborough.

It happened on Albermarle Crescent in Scarborough at approximately 2200 – 2230hrs on the 3rd of August 2015 and involved an assault on a  32 year old man. The male has suffered serious wounds to his face which required stiches following the assault.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about the assault which took place and the male suspect behind the attack.

This male is described as around 25 years old, approx 5ft 6in tall with sort dark hair. He is described as wearing a pair of faded blue jeans and a black t- shirt with horizontal coloured strips and was last seen running down Albermarle Crescent towards Aberdeen Walk following the attack.
