Appeal following serious assault

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a serious assault that occurred in York.

It happened at Revolutions, Coney Street, York shortly before 2.00am Monday 30 September and involved a male sustaining a serious eye injury. The victim was taken to York District Hospital but has since been discharged.

A 20 year-old man was arrested and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
