Appeal following theft of Landrover Defender from Gargrave, Skipton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about the theft of a black Landrover Defender reg. KU61 TNK that occurred in Gargrave, Skipton.

The vehicle was stolen from a driveway on Church Street over night, some time between 10.30pm on Tuesday 2 January 2018 and 5.30am on Wednesday 3 January 2018.

The vehicle, pictured below, is quite distinctive in that it now has a roof rack with ladders on and silver paw print stickers on the rear nearside panel.


Police are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about any suspicious persons or vehicles in the Gargrave area between the above times.

We would also urge members of the public to keep observations out for the vehicle and to report any sightings to North Yorkshire Police.
