Appeal following theft of mountain bikes at Sutton Bank bikes

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary that took place at Sutton Bank bikes, which is located at the Sutton Bank visitor centre, on the A170 between Thirsk and Helmsley.

The incident happened between 4.30pm and 8.45pm on Sunday 7 January 2018.

The offenders have forced entry in to the shop and taken three high-value mountain bikes: a Santa Cruz Bronson in olive green, a black Santa Cruz 5010, and a teal-coloured Juliana Furtado C (same models pictured). They have then left in an unknown direction.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
