Appeal following theft of a van

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a vehicle theft that occurred in Scarborough.

It happened on Esplanade Gardens at 12pm on Friday 23 December 2016 and involved a white Iveco Daily panel van, registration AG03 WJL that was parked on the road at the time.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about anybody who was seen on the road at the above time, particularly if they were seen to be watching the workmen using the van.
