Appeal following thefts of fuel from vehicles in Selby

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information following two fuel thefts that occurred in Selby.

Both thefts happened on the A63 between Selby swing bridge and the A1041/A63 roundabout.between approximately 7pm Tuesday 20 February and 5.30am on Wednesday 21 February 2018.

A large quantity of fuel was stolen from two lorries parked in the lay-by at the side of the A63.

It is believed the offenders accessed the lay-by by vehiucle through an adjacent field from Thief Lane, Selby. It is believed that offenders have crossed the A63 between lay-bys to target vehicles.
