Appeal for information after cyclist suffers serious injuries

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information after a cyclist was found injured at the roadside in Wistow, near Selby.

Between 10.30am and 10.45am on 5 March 2021, a cyclist was discovered on Station Road, Wistow with significant head injuries and no memory of how they had occurred.

The cyclist was taken to hospital via ambulance after a member of the public found him at the roadside and was later released to recover at home.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who recalls seeing the cyclist around the time of the incident and who may be able to help establish the full circumstances of what happened.
