Appeal for information following a burglary in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary that occurred in Poplar Street, York.

It happened between at some point between midnight on Friday 22 November 2019 and 1pm on Saturday 23 November 2019 on Poplar Street in York and involved an unknown offender entering an address by an insecure front door and removing items from inside the lounge.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about anyone, or any vehicles seen acting suspiciously in and around the area, at the time of the incident .
