North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a member of staff was assaulted at a shop in York.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a member of staff was assaulted at a shop in York.

The incident occurred at around 6.55pm on Monday, 25 February at the Morrisons store on Foss Island.

The offender is described as aged in her late 30s/early 40s, of slender build, with a pale complexion and mousey coloured hair. She was wearing a light coloured waist length hooded jacket and carrying a handbag and rucksack.
