Appeal for information following burglary in Hemingbrough

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a property on Orchard End in Hemingbrough on Monday 28 January 2019.

The homeowner had left the property at around 8.45am that morning. When she returned at 9.15am, she found that burglars had gained entry to her property and an amount of cash had been stolen.

Officers are keen to speak to two men who were seen in the area, who were travelling in a silver Citroen car, as they may hold information which is important to the investigation.

The two men are described as Eastern European in appearance and aged in their twenties. Both men were wearing baseball caps, with one man wearing white trousers and the other in purple trousers.

Officers are appealing to anyone who could identify the men, or who was in the area at the time of the burglary who saw anything suspicious, to contact them.
