Appeal for information following burglary in Selby

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary that occurred in Selby.

It happened at a residential property on Abbots Road, Selby overnight between 11pm on Sunday 21 October 2018 and 3am on Monday 22 October 2018.

The offender entered the property and stole among other things a black and pink handbag and purse, money, a Samsung Galaxy tablet and a gold and silver bracelet.

On Monday 22 October 2018, a 30 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He was released under investigation pending further enquiries.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about any suspicious activity in the Abbots Road area overnight on Sunday 21 October and any information about the stolen items.
