Appeal for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Malton

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred on Railway Street, Malton

The assault took place in the early hours of Sunday 10t November 2019 at around 1 to 1.30am and resulted in a man being injured,  following an altercation on Railway Street in Malton.

The victim was taken to hospital and suffered a potential broken nose and injury to his hand.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about a potential suspect who left the scene.

The suspect is described to be a white male, approximately 25-28 years old, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
