Appeal for witnesses after criminal damage in New Earswick
At some point in the last four weeks, an offensive symbol was scratched into the driver’s side window of a car in the village of New Earswick. The vehicle’s owner noticed the damage on 3 January 2021 and it is believed this occurred at some point between early December 2020 and 3 January 2021.
We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and in particular, appealing for anyone who may have information about who is responsible for this damage. We’re also asking that New Earswick residents remain vigilant for any suspicious activity and report anything of concern to the police.
