Appeal for witnesses after fatal collision near Skipton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses following a collision in which a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries.

Around 3.27pm on Sunday 11 October 2020, a man was travelling on the A59 near East Marton towards Skipton when his red Honda motorbike left the road. The 50 year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital by air ambulance but sadly later died as a result of his injuries.
