Appeal for witnesses following a large fight in Filey

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information following a fight involving a large number of people in Filey.

In happened at 11.59pm on Saturday 6 July 2019 involving approximately 20 people at Reighton Sands Holiday Park.

A man suffered facial injuries and a female suffered scratches to her elbows and knees and was knocked unconscious. 

A 27 year-old man and a 30 year-old man were arrested on suspicion of affray. They have since been released under investigation whilst further enquiries are conducted.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about what happened leading up to the fight. Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who returned back to their accommodation after the fight.
