Appeal for witnesses following incident of public order

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a public order incident on Aberdeen Walk near the shops in Scarborough.

It happened on Aberdeen Walk, Scarborough between the times of 11:45am and 12:15pm on 6 December 2019, and involved two women who had a verbal altercation with a crowd of people gathered around.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who was in the area at the time, to get in touch.
