Appeal for information after motorcyclist suffers serious injuries following incident on the B6451

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following a serious collision.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following a serious collision.

The incident occurred at around 9.20am on Wednesday, 13 June on the B6451 at Dacre Carr near to Menwith Hill and involved a black Suzuki motorcycle.

The rider received serious injuries and was taken to Leeds General Hospital by the air ambulance.

The road was closed for around six hours while emergency crews attended the scene and an initial collision investigation was carried out. Diversions were put in place during this time.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident or are asking anyone who believes they saw the motorcycle prior to the collision to contact them with information.
