Appeal to identify man in connection with Scarborough assault

Police are appealing for information to help identify the man in the CCTV images. Officers want to speak to the man in connection with an incident which happened on Christmas Eve, Saturday 24 December 2016.

Appeal to identify man in connection with Scarborough assault

The incident happened at 11.45pm on Victoria Road outside the Scarborough Police Station, when a 60 year old man from Scarborough was physically assaulted and sustained a serious facial injury.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who was in the area at the time is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police.

In particular, officers would like to speak to a man and a woman, who were seen talking to the man in the CCTV images around the time of the incident.
