Appeal to identify woman in CCTV

Police investigating an incident at Boots in Monks Cross, York, are appealing for information to help identify the woman in the CCTV images.

Officers want to speak to the woman in connection with the incident, which involved a female customer at the store trying to purchase an electrical item fraudulently by sticking a barcode for a much cheaper item over the original barcode. The incident happened on 19 March 2017.

Anyone who recognises the woman in the CCTV images, or who has any information, is asked to contact police. Dial 101, press 2 and ask to speak to PC Rachel Shaw.
