Appeal for information following assault in York

Officers are appealing for information following an assault, which resulted in a 37 year old man being taken to hospital with a head injury and cut to his eye.

The incident happened at around 6pm on Monday 13 November 2017 in the Navigation Road / Walmgate area of York.

Two men, aged 37 and 34, have been arrested in connection with the incident. Both men have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
