Appeal for information following damage to vehicle in Skipton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a damage to motor vehicle which was parked at the end of Roughaw Road, Skipton near to the roundabout joining North Parade and Cawder Road.

Between 7pm on Sunday 11 June 2017 and 8AM on Monday June 12 2017, a small red hatchback car was scratched whilst parked in the designated off road parking spaces near to the roundabout joining Roughaw Road with Cawder Green.

The car has been scratched with a sharp pointed item like a screwdriver or key. The name ‘PAIGE’ appears to have been scratched along with further squiggles and lines.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about anyone seen to be acting suspiciously in the area and we also appeal to anyone else in the area, who has had their car damaged who may not have reported it to come forward.
