Appeal for information following series of stone thefts in Skipton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a series of stone thefts in Skipton

Between the 1-7 August 2016 a number of houses in the Raikes Road, Salisbury Street, Tarn Moor Crescent and Gainsborough Court have had Yorkshire Stone coping stones taken from garden walls.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance who may have seen those responsible and also to check their cctv cameras for any suspicious activity in those areas.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, and quote crime reference number 12160138749.

The investigation is being undertaken by officers from Skipton Police Station.
