Appeal for information to help identify man after damage to a hotel

Police in York are appealing for information to help identify the man in the CCTV after a light outside a hotel was damaged.

Officers want to speak to the man in connection with the incident, which happened in the early hours of 7 January 2018.

A man was walking along Tanner Row with another man at around 1.50am when he pulled on an external light outside The Lawrence Hotel, causing the light to break and damaged the wiring.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information is asked to contact police.
