Appeal: Signs damaged at Rufforth gliding club

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about criminal damage to signs belonging to the gliding club at Rufforth Airfield.

It happened between 12 July and 27 July 2018 and involved an unidentified person causing damage to two signs on the public footpath at the gliding club.

The damage is to two signs that are in place for public safety whilst walking on the airfield.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information from dog walkers on the site to help identity the offender.
