Appeal to trace key witness to shop theft

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for a key witnesses to come forward about a shop thef that occurred at Sports Direct in Scarborough.

It happened at Sports Direct on Valley Bridge Road in the town at 16:00 on Friday 28 August 2015. A witness did tell police what they saw, however it was not possible to obtain details at the time. We are hoping this person can come forward and help us conclude the investigation.

A male has been arrested and is currently on police bail as enquiries continue.
