Appeal for witnesses to an assault in Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in Scarborough.

It happened outside the Cask Public House on Grosvenor Road at closing time in the early hours of Saturday 12 December 2015, and involved two males from the local area.

One of the males attended Scarborough Hospital where he was treated for a head injury and later discharged.

One person has been arrested in connection to this incident and is currently on bail pending further enquiries.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information from anyone who saw the incident and witnessed the assault itself.
