Appeal for witnesses – collision in Seamer near Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about collision that occurred at the roundabout of the B1261 and Pasture Lane at Seamer, Scarborough.

It happened at 5.30pm on 28th August 2016 and involved a grey Honda Jazz and a Blue Peugeot.

Five people including both drivers and a four-year-old girl passenger, were treated as a result of minor injuries they sustained as a result of the collision. They were taken to Scarborough District hospital.

The stretch of road was closed for an hour while officers investigated the scene and to allow the vehicles to be recovered.

We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle(s) prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
