Appeal for witnesses following assault and criminal damage in Harrogate

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses regarding an assault and criminal damage that occurred in Harrogate.

It happened on Cecil Street Harrogate at 11.30pm on Friday 21 July 2017 and involved a group of males aged between 15-20yrs who assaulted a male resident and then threw a paving slab through a downstairs window.

The victim suffered swelling to his eye and had a number of cuts and grazes.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
