Appeal for witnesses following criminal damage to motor vehicle

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information regarding an unattended motor vehicle which has been damaged whilst parked in Helmsley.


It happened at Helmsley market place at about 9pm on Thursday 15 June 2017 and involved a blue Peugeot car belonging to a local man.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about anyone seen near to or tampering with the vehicle
