Appeal for witnesses following criminal damage in Norton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about shop windows and cars that have been damaged on Church Street, Norton.

It happened on Church Street Norton at 2350 hours on Thursday 4th January 2018 and involved a man kicking and punching doors, windows and cars.

The man has smashed two windows of the Chinese’s take away on Church Street and also kicked a wing mirror off a car on Wood Street.

The man is described as aged in his early 20’s wearing a hoodie and dark tracksuit bottoms.  He was  with a woman about the same age, she was wearing white skinny jeans and had brown hair which was in a bun.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
