Appeal for witnesses following criminal damage in Selby

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about criminal damage that occurred in Selby.

The incident took place between 6pm on Sunday 28 May and 7am on Tuesday 30 May 2017 at the Persimmon building site on Staynor Hall.

It involved offenders smashing a rear window and the glass on the dashboard gauges of a forklift and pulling out wiring inside the driver’s cabin.

They also damaged the fencing and set off and emptied eight fire extinguishers into the drains causing a blockage.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
