Appeal for witnesses following Skipton burglary

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Skipton

of a lock up garage on 12/6/17 at Crag View Road

In happened on Monday 12 June 2017 when a lock-up garage was broken into just off Whinny Gill Road, Skipton. The door was forced open and two motorcycles were subsequently stolen.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we would like to speak to anyone who saw a man riding either of the two motorcycles below along Sackville Street and onto Keighley Road in Skipton later the same day.

The stolen vehicles are:

  • YAMAHA YZ 125CC – off-road type (Registration plate: NX54 OTP)
  • KTM RC 125 CC (Registration plate: OY15 HAU)
