Appeal for witnesses following street robbery in Selby

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a robbery that occurred in Selby.

It happened at approximately 11.25pm on Saturday 9 September 2017 on Holmes Lane, Selby.

A woman had just returned to her home when two females jump-pushed her from behind, knocked her to the ground and snatched her handbag. The two females then ran away towards Holmes Avenue.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
