Assault in Parliament Street, Harrogate

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Harrogate which left a man with a suspected broken leg.

In the early hours of Saturday 11 July 2015 an assault took place on Parliament Street Harrogate which resulted in a male being taken to Harrogate District Hospital by ambulance for treatment to a suspected broken leg.

A male was arrested at the time however was bailed pending further enquiries being carried out.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information from people who witnessed the assault.
