Does this belong to you? Appeal to reunite stolen items with owners after Selby burglaries

A number of stolen items have been recovered by police in the Selby area following an investigation into recent burglaries in Selby.

Officers are now hoping to reunite the items, which include handbags, power tools, a horse harness, a pocket watch and a cat carrier, with their rightful owners and are appealing for people to come forward.

Two Selby men aged 41 and 31, were arrested earlier this week in a tent in Barlow Grange Woods in connection with the burglaries.

The 41-year-old man was charged with burglary dwelling, theft, receiving stolen goods and nine counts of fraud by false representation.

The 31-year old was charged with burglary dwelling, theft from a motor vehicle, two counts of theft, three counts of receiving stolen goods, and nine counts of fraud by false representation.

A 32-year-old woman, who was found hiding in her fridge at an address in Barlby, was also arrested and charged with theft, receiving stolen goods, aggravated vehicle taking, using a motor vehicle without insurance.

All three have been remanded in custody to appear at court next month.
