CCTV appeal after Tesco security staff threatened in York

Posted on in CCTV appeals

Police have issued CCTV stills of two men they would like to speak to after security staff at a York Tesco store were threatened.

The incident occurred at Tesco on Clifton Moor on Monday 27 January 2020 at approximately 6pm when two males took two television sets from the shop without making any attempt to pay for them.

Security staff attempted to stop the two men before one of the males threatened that he had a knife. They then made their escape in a white Vauxhall van.

Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the people in the images as they believe they will have information that will help the investigation.
